About Chris Pamatian

I've had a love for photography since I was young. Whether it was a Polaroid or a Kodak 110, I was always the kid with the camera. When I retired in 2016 I decided to devote more time to my favorite hobby and see where this would take me.

Many photographers rely on their skills as their sole source of income. I am so thankful to be able to choose the things I shoot. For the time being it’s going to be those things that I enjoy. I love music so it seemed only natural to try and combine my two favorite passions. I also enjoy surfing, events, wildlife and street photography.

I look at photography as being the same as keeping a journal, only without the words. If you do it right, a photo will take you back and let you relive moments over and over. Yea I know that sounds kind of cheesy but who cares….it’s my page LOL. This is the world as I see it, through my lens.

Equipment

I'm currently shooting with 2 Canon R6s (Mirrorless; Full Frame) that I like to refer to as my 6-shooters. All of my lenses are Canon and include a 70-200 2.8 IS USM iii, 16-35 2.8 USM iii, 24-105 f4L IS USM, 100-400 F4.5 ii L IS USM and a 50 1.8 STM. My wish list is long and always growing.
